コンセプト
食器というのは、勾配によって構成されていることに着目した。スープボウルも平皿も、マグカップでさえも同じである。
その特性を顕在化すべく、平たい角皿の一つの角のみ勾配をつけた。
それにより、平皿という平面性の中に緩やかな仕切られた一角が現れた。勾配とは繋がりながら仕切ることでもあった。
人と料理の間にこのプレートが入ることで、人と料理の関係性が何か変わることを期待している。

Concept
We took note that tableware consists of slopes-soup bowls, flat plates, and mugs alike.
To visualize this characteristic, one corner of the flat square plate was sloped.
Out of planarity of a flat plate appeared the gently sloped and partitioned corner. Sloping is in a sense partitioning while connecting.
We expect chemistry between humans and foods by presenting this plate in between.
